Research

Research in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ryerson University encompasses a broad spectrum of areas which reflect the wide range of interest and expertise of the faculty. The following three major research groups have been formed with each having research facilities associated with it.
  • Signal Processing and Communications (SPC)
  • Computer Systems Engineering (CSE)
  • Power Engineering (PE)
The web pages of each research group provide further information about the research projects and specific projects. Support for the research is provided by contracts and grants from federal and provincial agencies and from industrial sources.
